Baby Dakota...at 1 week old! So Cute!

I love this photo of the boys with Dakota... they can't hardly walk by her without kissing her! The younger of the two is so cute, he calls her "baby whirl" because he can't say girl!

Operation Love Reunited
5.02.2008
OpLOVE

David and I have been doing military appreciation days for about 5 years now; once a year with several families and we love being able to give back to those who sacrifice so much for all of us and our freedoms! So when we were invited to become a part of Operation Love Reunited we jumped at the opportunity! OpLove is a non profit organization that is made up of photographers around the country who give their time to our service members and their families who are deployed, being deployed or returning from deployment. Each service member is given up to a total of 2 sessions (one before, one when they return for example).
the "Y" family below you will notice is without daddy right now, lets all pray that he comes home safe...soon! Until then his little princess and boxer to be will have these photos (and more) sent to their daddy overseas so he can share these moments.

this is my favorite shot from the day...I love her princess slippers with daddy's boots
He looks like he's boxing, but he's actually learning to clap...he just hasn't figured out how to open his hand yet!

little girls just LOVE lipstick!

Ooohh Lala!
4.20.2008
It seems like all of my closest girlfirends are about to pop...Lala is one of the 3 friends out here that is due any day so we did a quick round at the beach park this afternoon! We are all very anxious to find out if it's a boy or girl...
Any guesses?

Claire

Claire and her mommy and daddy were also a part of our Military appreciation shoot. Unfortunatley the rain would not let off and we had to end our session early. Here are some of my favorites from the short time we had togehter!

Kylie
Little Kylie... this is Brooklyn's best girlfriend. Janice and Davis (Kylie's parents) own Video21Productions, a few weeks prior to this they did a video for Brooklyn (which is SO cute I will post the link in another post) in exchange we met up at the beach and took some photos of Kylie. Kylie had no interest in taking photos - she was ready to play and it didn't help that Brooke was feet away either! It seems like a trend though in the 2-3 year old range especially if their parents are photographers or videographers professionally or those photo crazy parents who take pictures of EVERYTHING (LOL to those of you) and they've had a camera pointed in their direction since birth! Anyway these are a few of my favorites.

Giving Daddy kisses :)

Mahina the Yellow Lab
3.30.2007
Mahina, a yellow lab, is one of the 2 lucky winners of the silent auction donation we gave away at the past Hawaii Dog Foundation fund raiser. Every year they have a silent auction to help raise funds to support their foundation (and cute little dogs-while in their care between homes). Mahina was a great dog- fun and as you can see- super photogenic! Check back in a few months for our second winners' shots!

Dominique Hula
3.16.2007
When Leigh a dear friend of ours from Tiers of Joy asked us if we could squeeze a session in of her hubby's daughter while visiting out here- we of course said YES! Dominique spent part of her young life in Japan and while there learned how to dance Hula, so Leigh thought it would be fun to have photos of her dancing and in costume! While a little shy at first, she warmed up quickly and I think she really enjoyed the spotlight!
