What a beautiful couple and totally in love! I can't wait to photograph their babies :) One of my favorite things about this wedding was the bubble wrap poppers- it sounded just like fireworks when the lions came in- it was awesome...I think it would be a great idea for children friendly fireworks on fourth of July...no fire but lot's of noise!!! Thanks for a wonderful time!

Crystal and Ben... What a cute couple! Crystal put a lot of effort into her wedding as did the team at HWC to make it a day everyone would remember.

Natalie and Danny celebrated their wedding at Luana Hills on the windward side of the island. They are so sweet with each other- one of those couples you can look at and say "they are in love." And talk about a romancer... Danny was singing to her as they danced and tears trickled down her cheeks, I even cried! Thank you Natalie and Danny for sharing these special moments with us! So often we see people "hold back" at their reception when we know they have more in them to share, thank you for being yourself!

Just wrapped up Corey and Danny's "wedding marathon photos" the joke since we took more photos at their wedding than any other event we have shot. Don't know why but we were both trigger happy that day- not to mention we had a 3rd shooter doing the photo booth set up- which was so much fun! Hope to do that more often!Anyway from the moment we met Corey and Danny we knew it would be a special day. They were so cute and had great stories to share with me about how they met and dating, things they loved to do, etc... I have seen lots of great things done at weddings but this one seemed to have a little of it all! Aside from the usual wedding events (great speeches, beautiful details etc...) Corey danced a beautiful hula, Danny's mom sang, Corey's mom gave a Hawaiian prayer, Danny's brother played ukulele (and read the words to a song from his hand which was REALLY funny!), and then to top the night off Danny sang not one but two Frank Sinatra songs to Corey and he sounded GREAT- it was amazing! The event was held at the Royal Hawaiian and details of the event were coordinated by Beth Bowlen Harbottle of Social Butterfly , the beautiful flowers were done by Yvonne FloralThank you for letting us be a part of it all!

Such a Happy Couple! Dina and David had a smile on from the moment we saw them, I honestly think the world could have fallen apart that day and as long as they had each other they would have continued to smile! I don't think David took his eyes off of Dina all day! The ceremony was held at the historic Bayer Estate and the dinner reception at Indigo Restaurant. It was a beautiful day!

Christy and Vagans' wedding ceremony was one of the most unique and most moving I have ever witnessed (I had to plug my ears so I didn't start crying)! The were no frills or fluff, it was very small with only the closest people in their lives, and each participated in the ceremony by saying a special something to the bride and groom or singing a song, etc... it was very sweet and I am sure they will never forget it!
I though this ring shot was fitting for a school teacher and one serving our country over seas!

What a blast this crew was! I knew from our first conversation we were going to have a great time with Sloane and Nate...it was like a big reunion of old college buddies! And of course Pacific Aisles as always did a beautiful job in helping Sloane get everything together!
These fish must have some kind of magical power over people...evertime someone walked by these fish at the entrace to the Ihilani they would bend down to what seemed like "pet them" so I had to see why- as you can see they are very friendly fish-

don't you wish you knew what they were laughing about?

An unforseen power outage led to a wonderful song "Margaritaville" sung by the best man!

Good morning! well..just returning from our Big Island wedding- Great Couple! As in most weddings there is always one thing that does not go as planned! Well, for this couple Sadie (the bride) said "you (david and I) are the only thing that went as planned" having said that she really rolled with it all! She had a "sunset ceremony" ... with no sunset and pretty much no light what so ever oh and some rain with that too :) Not to mention all the preplanning...that all flopped too! But had she not told me... I would have never known- she held herself together like a true woman! So for all of you out there please take note- if everything does not go the way you plan...it's not the end of the world! Have fun with itbecause there is nothing you can do to change it!- we all did! Some of my favorite images from the day...ok night- he he

Jen and Alden love the outdoors, surfing, watersports...etc.. so it was fitting that they have their wedding in Hawaii on the waters edge! Their guests even ventured in by the end of the night!
